Taste of Nepal10Days / 9Nights From ZAR16 980 per personBEST TIME FOR TREKKINGFor trekking in the Himalaya, or visiting the mountain region or lowland plains, the best time to visit is during spring and autumn. Spring is rhododendron season while autumn brings the clearest skies after the monsoon in October and November. At these times the weather is generally mild and there is little rainfall. Summer from June to September, while not a good time to visit the monsoonal lowland plains, is an ideal time for trekking in the rain shadow region of the Himalaya. The winter months can also provide good trekking conditions but some of the higher passes will be closed due to snow.
