TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE BEIJING

Make your own way to the Beijing Hotel. Rest of afternoon at leisure.

DAY 2: BEIJING

Start your first day of touring with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the treasure filled Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. In the evening you will sample the delicious local specialty, ‘Peking Duck’. (B,L,D)

DAY 3: BEIJING

Enjoy a walk on the Great Wall and tour the underground Ming Tombs as well as the Sacred Way. (B,L)

DAY 4: BEIJING

Visit the Lama Temple and the 15th-century Temple of Heaven. (B,L)

DAY 5: BEIJING TO XIAN

Enjoy the morning at leisure, before boarding your flight to Xian. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B)

DAY 6: XIAN

Tour one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th Century, the Terracotta Warriors. Later visit the ancient City Wall, the Muslim Quarter and the Great Mosque. Complete the day with a performance of traditional Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,L)

DAY 7: DEPART XIAN

After check-out this morning your tour arrangements end. (B)
