TOUR ITINERARYDAYS 1-2: South Africa TO BEIJINGFly overnight with Cathay Pacific Airways to Beijing for a three night stay. DAY 3: BEIJINGStroll through Tiananmen Square, passing Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, followed by a visit to the Forbidden City. Rectangular in shape, surrounded by a 6m-deep moat and a 10m-high wall, it is the world’s largest palace complex. This evening sample the local delicacy, Peking Duck. DAY 4: BEIJINGTake an exciting walk along the Great Wall of China. Stretching from the Shanhaiguan Pass on the east coast to the Gobi Desert in the west, it is more than 5,000km long. Wander through the Summer Palace and admire its landscaped beauty. Your evening entertainment will be an exciting acrobatics performance. DAY 5: BEIJING TO XIANExplore Liulichang’s ancient shopfronts and the calligraphy market. Later, tour the unique 15th-century Temple of Heaven.
