Passports and Visas
Passports
All South African nationals require a full passport for all holidays with Wendy Wu and this should be valid for at least six months after the date of your scheduled return home. If you are not a South African national, other regulations may apply to you and you should check with the nearest embassy of the country you intend to visit.
Please note that for certain trips, we will require your passport details prior to accepting your booking. Furthermore, if you renew your passport after you have booked, it is important you advise us of the new details as soon as possible and you may be required to take your old passport with you to maintain the validity of the trip.
Visa requirements
Unlike many other tour operators, we include your entry visas in the price of our tour. We handle the entire visa process, once you have booked, all you need to do is fill out the form and send your passport to us. We are always on hand to help you with any questions or queries you might have when completing the form.
To enable us to process your visa, we will need your passport and visa application forms 8 weeks before your departure. We would normally expect to have to keep your passport for a maximum of 4 weeks to allow for the visas application process. If you need your passport back earlier, then please let us know, and we can arrange an ‘express’ visa service at an additional charge.
Please note: Chinese Embassy or the Consulate General has the right to request the applicant to provide additional supporting documents or to come to the Embassy or the Consulate General for an interview. In the event you are asked to attend an interview, we will notify you immediately with the times and the dates.
If you wish, you can organise your own visa. If you wish to do so, please let us know.
